Hey Fam, Maisha ... I need to know why Seattle is not on your tour? You don't have to answer because I was raised in ATL ... Southwest ... West End ... Campbellton Rd ... Bankhead, etc. Not enough black/minority people for the cost of living is so high we are just surviving but, would love to come to your show. I saw the one show y'all had in Seattle but, it only lasted a few minutes on you tube. I know without even really watching what happened. My goal again and I pray you get this message. My goal is come to ATL for my 53rd in March. I want to see the trap, see a show or whatever. While exploring what is happening to my community for I told you before I am building a community redevelopment project called SWATTS and I need your help/platform. I currently doing everything by myself while on my educational journey but, networking, building confidence on stage performance/speech (still shy at 52). I just need people on board to help bring the SWATTS Project to LIFE.
To the people that is following ... The TIME IS NOW TO WAKE UP AND SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING TO OUR PEOPLE. Gentrification of our Neighborhoods ... When I was raised in ATL at the age of 9 back in the day ... WE HAD COMMUNITY FELLOWSHIP ... EVENTS that supported and kept our neighborhood alive with the just a day we go to Mosely, Bankhead, watching the kids drive their ATVs and Motor bikes with the fish fries and just simply enjoying Southern Hospitality. We had Freak Nik but, THEY shut everything down when as people come together ... THEY are afraid of us and the time is now for us step up as a people to rebuild our community our way. Merkerson's Fish and Seafood is a spot where my father love to hang and would take forever to bring our food on Friday's after working a hard full week between my father and I but, I would like to partner with them if they are still in business to transform their business into a spot where people like my father and my other elders can hang and get good food with a positive atmosphere. The Time is now for we as people to step up and take our neighborhood back with our people owning the businesses, restaurants, shopping malls, housing, parks, community centers, and JUST US!!! PLEASE WE AS A PEOPLE NEED TO COME TOGETHER TO STOP THIS GENTRIFICATION OUR HOOD!!! Please reach out to me at [email protected] if you are available and willing to help me get our neighborhood back.
